The Jordaan is certainly in the top 3 of the most famous neighborhoods in this capital. The – originally – working class district is centrally located in the city.
It is a pleasant neighborhood to walk through. Walk along the canals along hidden courtyards and you will discover places where famous Dutch musicians such as René Froger, Kool Alberts, André Hazes Senior and Johnny Jordaan have lived or have grown up.
